About the Gallery |

The Materials Structure Interactive Gallery is a collaboration of the research from faculty, graduate students, and undergraduate research assistants. These animations and interactive structures are created from various molecular dynamics simulations and quantum calculations. The JavaScript code JSMol is used to view and interact with these structures. Therefore, a modern browser capable of running JavaScript is required. In 2014, Eleanor Leffler at the University of Tennessee created these pages. The Gallery is funded by the Department of Material Science and Engineering of the University of Tennessee. We would like to acknowledge Professor Hanson at St. Olaf College for providing help on the JSmol scripting. We sincerely appreciate his contribution to the Gallery. |
